Learn Summary Sheet

Before Learning:

Fact and concept-based:

Write/say everything you think you know about the topic to be studied
Check your understanding against an overview of the topic, answer:
- How does this topic connect to the bigger picture of this course?
- What are the main components of this topic, and how do they interact?

Application-based (optional):

If no resources later → take comprehensive notes

Self-paced (reading, video):

Explain in simple terms what you're seeing/hearing (Feynman Technique).
Explain why whenever applicable
Use whiteboard-style notes to help you explain: sketch, map, outline, compare.
- Focus on processing, not transcribing; ugly is good!
- If no resources later → take comprehensive notes
